7 pumpkin recipes for the season

I have to say I’m not a huge fan of the texture of pumpkin pie, but I do love that fall-tastic taste.

Lucky for me there are loads of other creative ways to enjoy that delicious spiced pumpkin flavor.

Visit Shaken Together to spice up your tried & true Pillsbury crescent rolls with some pumpkin goodness.

Doesn’t the combination of pumpkin and oatmeal sound so tasty? And did I mention that the pumpkin filling has cream cheese in it?  Find the delicious details at Sally’s Baking Addiction.

Now that I tempted you with two sweet recipes, how about this foodie twist on lasagna from Naturally Ella?

My sweet husband makes pancakes every Sunday using a box mix.  Do you think I could convince him to challenge his basic cooking skills if I leave this pumpkin pancake recipe from Chef in Training on the kitchen counter?

Well I suppose if I can’t convince Steve to make the pumpkin pancakes, maybe we compromise by putting pumpkin butter on his standard fare instead.  This lovely recipe from Oh She Glows would also be great to make for friends & family for Thanksgiving.

I think this pretty pumpkin coffee cake would be a great alternative to the traditional pumpkin pie dessert.  On the other hand, I can’t think of a better way to start a November day… coffee & cake please!  Visit Barbara Bakes for all the details.

Chocolate Covered Katie put together a combination that I never thought of… pumpkin, peanut butter and chocolate!  These look a little more tedious to make, but what an interesting treat to add to your holiday cookie tray?
