If you have time to burn you can stretch this project across an entire day. For example, you can go for a long walk in search of the perfect rock, spend time cleaning it in some warm soapy water then putting it out to dry. Then there&#8217;s the painting, waiting, naming, housing \u2013 the possibilities are limitless!<\/p>\n<p>You will need<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 a small, smooth, oval shaped rock (or shell)<br \/>\u2022 an empty match box<br \/>\u2022 red acrylic paint<br \/>\u2022 black acrylic paint<br \/>\u2022 felt<br \/>\u2022 black marker<br \/>\u2022 brushes<br \/>\u2022 glue<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: #333333\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><span style=\"FONT-SIZE: 10pt; COLOR: #333333\"><span face=\"Times New Roman\">You could do this activity in many different ways, depending on what resources you have available.<\/p>\n<p>We did it by painting a pippi shell red and dotting it with a cotton bud.
