already have a few of the ingredients\u00a0you need to create a colorful sidewalk in your kitchen already. \u00a0You could use food coloring to color your concoction or for a more stain friendly option choose washable tempera paints. \u00a0I picked up my spray containers at the dollar store.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what I put in each spray bottle:<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n1\/4 cup corn starch<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon baking soda<\/p>\n<p>1 cup hot water<\/p>\n<p>a good squirt of paint or coloring<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter ingredients are in the bottle, shake, shake, shake until they are all mixed together. \u00a0Since the corn starch does settle over time, you do want to shake again periodically.<\/p>\n<p><img on\u00a0spraying the sidewalk&#8230; and me :-) (consider yourself warned) After Marlo\u00a0tired of the color fun, we put some vinegar in another spray bottle to get some bubble action. transitioned to spraying just water and that really blended the colors together. \u00a0In the end it was a fun little activity for an August evening and we still have plenty of paint to do it a few
