I thought it was a fine time to reconnect with our neighbors &amp; hear all about thier summer adventures.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"display: inline;\" href=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451dba369e20153919a75c9970b-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451dba369e20153919a75c9970b image-full\" title=\"Neighbor1\" src=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451dba369e20153919a75c9970b-800wi\" alt=\"Neighbor1\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So I dropped these invites in their mailboxes a couple of weeks ago &amp; we had a fine fall party last Sunday.\u00a0 (<em>Not realizing that the 1st Lion&#8217;s game was also on at this time, I made sure to have our television tuned to the channel for score updates throughout the afternoon.<\/em>\u00a0 GO LIONS!)<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"display: inline;\" href=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451dba369e2014e8b8e2f5f970d-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451dba369e2014e8b8e2f5f970d image-full\" title=\"Neighbor3\" src=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451dba369e2014e8b8e2f5f970d-800wi\" alt=\"Neighbor3\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a style=\"display: inline;\" href=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451dba369e20154356dadeb970c-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451dba369e20154356dadeb970c image-full\" title=\"Neighbor2\" src=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451dba369e20154356dadeb970c-800wi\" alt=\"Neighbor2\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since tomatos &amp; basil are so tasty right now, I made a few of these <a href=\"http:\/\/terristable.blogspot.com\/2010\/06\/apps-and-im-not-talkin-iphone.html\" target=\"_blank\">delish skewers<\/a> to add to the appetizer selection.<\/p>\n<p><a style=\"display: inline;\" href=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451dba369e20154356da09e970c-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451dba369e20154356da09e970c image-full\" title=\"Neighbor4\" src=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451dba369e20154356da09e970c-800wi\" alt=\"Neighbor4\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a style=\"display: inline;\" href=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451dba369e20153919a82e4970b-pi\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"asset  asset-image at-xid-6a00d83451dba369e20153919a82e4970b image-full\" title=\"Neighbor5\" src=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/.a\/6a00d83451dba369e20153919a82e4970b-800wi\" alt=\"Neighbor5\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>So many of the neighbors thanked us for hosting this little get-together and it was soooo easy to make it happen.\u00a0 All you need is a few chairs, card tables (covered with cute tablecloths helps:-), some random weeds\/flowers placed in flower vases\/jars, a few of your favorite beverages on ice, paper plates, plastic forks &amp;
