We are happy to be partnering with Children’s Hospital of Michigan<\/a> again for our 4th annual Valentine Card Campaign.<\/p>\n

So we invite you to put your crafty hat on & whip up some sweet sentiments for kids who could use a smile on February 14th.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll be collecting your handcrafted cards at our Berkley & Rochester locations<\/a> until February 8.\u00a0 And if you don\u2019t live near by and want to participate, please send your cards to: catching fireflies 3117 W 12 Mile Berkley, MI 48072<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A note from The Children\u2019s Hospital:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

When making your cards, please consider not signing the cards <\/strong>so family members and\/or staff could personalize the cards themselves and give them to the patients. It means more to the patients to receive a card from someone familiar vs. a stranger. The patients also like to be able to give cards to their family members or the nurses and staff caring for them.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Also if you could avoid messages like \u201cGet Well\u201d or \u201cFeel Better Soon,\u201d\u00a0 as well as anything with a religious connotation. Some of the patients here, unfortunately, have life long illnesses like cystic fibrosis, sickle cell disease, etc. that they won\u2019t necessarily be \u201cgetting well.\u201d We service so many different cultures and religions that we try not to offend any of our patients\/customers.<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n
