welcoming kerstin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was just under a year ago when we first met our Ann Arbor manager, Katie.\u00a0 We knew she was going to be a great fit for our latest location and an asset to our team.\u00a0 We also knew she was only going to be with us for a short time since her fiance was finishing his doctorate in physics at U of M&#8230; but sadly that time came a little sooner than expected.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5536\" alt=\"katie1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie1.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"345\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie1.jpg 600w, http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie1-300x172.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Katie spent her first month with us diving into the crazy Christmas season at our Berkley location.\u00a0 She soon found out that being a facebook model was part of the gig and happily agreed with a smile.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5537\" alt=\"katie in ann arbor\" src=\"http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie2.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"453\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie2.jpg 600w, http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie2-300x226.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>When January rolled around her job title turned into a full time painter.\u00a0 Steve &amp; I put in a few days of painting, but the majority of that store was colored by Katie&#8217;s handiwork\u00a0 (even the 80+ window panes!)&#8230; and she did an AWESOME job all with a <strong>can do<\/strong> attitude.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie31.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5541\" alt=\"katie and elliot\" src=\"http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie31.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"429\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie31.jpg 600w, http:\/\/www.catchingfirefliesgifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/katie31-300x214.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next came the joy of inventorying and creating price labels for thousands of new products for 2 weeks straight.\u00a0 Our mac-man, Elliot teamed up with her as they entered the land of using our new UPC &amp;
