MARGIN: 0px 5px 5px 0px\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.downtownrochestermi.com\/index.htm\">Rochester<\/a> has spirit &#8211; Yes they do!&nbsp; The city kicked off their <em>first of many<\/em> holiday festivities this weekend with the Christkindlmarkt, a German\/American Christmas Market that offered one-of-a-kind shopping, seasonal greens, live holiday entertainment, traditional food &amp; drink, and great gifts for the holidays.<a href=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/2007\/11\/24\/chris3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image-full\" title=\"Chris3\" alt=\"Chris3\" src=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/2007\/11\/24\/chris3.jpg\" border=\"0\" style=\"FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 5px 5px 0px\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>It was a wonderful alternative to the hustle and bustle of <strong>4am sales<\/strong> <em>(can you believe they start that early now?),<\/em> obnoxious lines and crazy behavior.<a href=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/2007\/11\/24\/chris2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image-full\" title=\"Chris2\" alt=\"Chris2\" src=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/2007\/11\/24\/chris2.jpg\" border=\"0\" style=\"FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 5px 5px 0px\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Our little store happened to be in the middle of this new holiday tradition and was buzzing all day long Friday and Saturday.<a href=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/2007\/11\/24\/chris6.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image-full\" title=\"Chris6\" alt=\"Chris6\" src=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/2007\/11\/24\/chris6.jpg\" border=\"0\" style=\"FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 5px 5px 0px\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>Friday night, Mr. &amp; Mrs. Claus and their live reindeer (right next to our store!) helped announce the tree lighting.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/2007\/11\/24\/chris5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"image-full\" title=\"Chris5\" alt=\"Chris5\" src=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/photos\/uncategorized\/2007\/11\/24\/chris5.jpg\" border=\"0\" style=\"FLOAT: left; MARGIN: 0px 5px 5px 0px\" \/><\/a> <\/p>\n<p>We had a grand time and are looking forward to the future Christmas Festivities like&#8230; Lagniappe on Nov. 26 (where we&#8217;ll have live Christmas music and 20% off all ornaments from 6-9pm), <a href=\"http:\/\/catchingfireflies.typepad.com\/catching_fireflies\/2006\/11\/dont_miss_the_b.html\">The Big Bright Light Show<\/a>, and the <a href=\"http:\/\/rochesterchamber.edictspaces.com\/index2.asp?category=B096E25425AF4CDB8C0A206DF912CDFA\">56th Annual Christmas Parade<\/a>.&nbsp;
