\"Frankfort\"<\/a>Meet Bob Thomas, folk artist extraorndinaire<\/span><\/em>, of Monumental Finds in Frankfort, Michigan.\"Frankfort_7\"<\/a> <\/p>\n

Steve and I were headed back home from our recent ‘up-north adventure’ when we drove by these amazing creations.  By the expression on my face, he knew there was a U-turn that needed to happen. (almost 9 years of marriage will do that to ya)\"Frankfort_6\"<\/a> <\/p>\n

Bob’s shop is full of miscellaneous antiques and embellishments he finds in the Shenandoah Valley<\/a>.\"Frankfort_3\"<\/a> <\/p>\n

And in his spare time, he creates these magical places from a variety of recycled goods.<\/p>\n

If my backyard was big enough, I would have a hard time not bringing one of these whimsical wonders home… or one would also look fabulous behind my fantasyland cottage on the beach. (maybe someday)<\/p>\n

I love the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ feel of this one.\"Frankfort_4\"<\/a> <\/p>\n

In my opinion, you’re never too old to have a magical tea party with real<\/em> or imaginary<\/em> friends.<\/p>\n

Finding eclectic artists like Bob always inspire me to continue thinking outside the box… life is just more fun that way.<\/p>\n
