an ann arbor afternoon

Since planting flowers & power-washing the deck was on Memorial-Day-Monday's to-do list, we took a Sunday jaunt down to Ann Arbor.

It had been a while since we visited the place where it all started for a.i. paper design – at the Ann Arbor Artisan Market.  Love walking down memory lane and seeing what new artists are selling their wares on a Sunday afternoon.  It's fun to think that I was at one of those tables just 13 years ago.

Zingerman's Deli had a long lunch line (big surprise) so we tried out this new restaurant -  Blue Tractor BBQ and Brewery (isn't their sign so cool?)

Yummmmm – a very tasty HUGE lunch with enough fries to feed a family!  We also loved their house made 'bread & butter' pickles, sweet potato fries and sweet tea.

After lunch we made our way to some favorite shops like… Carol Rodea Gallery, 16 hands, Acme Mercantile, Heavenly Metal, and all the shops in Kerrytown Market.  It was a lovely way to spend our extra free day on this holiday weekend.
