  1. My favorite summer drink is:
    Prosecco
Clementine Juice (Bolthouse Farms makes a yummy one)
and a splash of Pomegranate juice.
You can do equal parts juice/prosecco but I tend to go a little heavier on the prosecco than the juice.

  2. Favorite summer drink is definitely fresh-squeezed lemonade!!! Add in some good vodka and it is the perfect summer-night drink too! :)

  3. I just love sitting outside on the patio on a warm summer night, sipping a margarita on the rocks!

  4. My favorite summer time drink is either sweet peach tea or a mojito. Both just scream summer to me and require me sitting on the patio when I drink it.

  5. My neighbor and I invented a drink we like to call the “Pom-Pom”. It is vodka, diet 7-up with pomegranate, and a splash of cranberry pomegranate juice. It’s very refreshing and somewhat healthy!! HA!

  6. growing up my favorite summer beverage was my nana’s homemade lemonade. i’ve never been able to replicate it! now, i enjoy a nice mojito!

  7. My favorite drink for summer is homemade sangria, you know the kind of drink that takes 1/2 a day to marry all the flavors. Start with a chianti, add some orange juice, slice an apple, an orange, a pear and let it ruminate together. ahh, nothing says summer better.

  8. On a hot day for parties or sitting outside on a deck at a restaurant, nothing is more refreshing than a Seven and Seven! LOVE THEM!

  9. My favorite summer drink is iced coffee not so much because of the taste but the memories it evokes. I can remember sitting on my grandmothers porch in the days before EVERYTHING was air conditioned. She lived in a beautiful old two story house with a great big front porch in upstate New York My family spent our summers there to escape the heat of the city until I was about 9 years old. We would all sit out there every night and pass the time. She made my iced coffee with much more milk and sugar than coffee and it was cold and sweet. Until this day, I love to share iced coffee with my own children and good friends on a warm summer night.

  10. Ooh – blueberry vodka and lemonade sounds delicious. That might become my new favorite. Until then, I’m a big fan of cranberry juice and vodka, with a big squeeze of lime.

  11. Hi everyone,
My favorite summer drink is not just one…I love ice cold water from the garden hose as well as sun tea made outdoors in a large jar. When the tea cools, add lots of ice and your favorite sweetener (if you use one). I like to try different types of tea or add a flavor tea to the regular black tea. Yummy – so refreshing. And I guess fruit smoothies are good too, more filling and tastier. It’s so hard to decide on just one, but I would choose water above all others!

  12. Tazo Black Iced Tea – NO SUGAR – from Starbucks…or better yet buying the tea from them and their super cool insulated cold beverage cups and drinking it at home!

  13. Homemade Sangria – dice 2 apples, 2 oranges, 2 peaches [nectarines or plums], a lemon, and a lime. Add simple syrup made from one cup of sugar, 2 bottles of Spanish red table wine and 4-6 ounces of brandy. Chill and let it set for at least two hours [or overnight if you can wait that long]. When ready to serve mix with equal parts sparkling water [lemon, lime or unflavored] and pour over ice in a tall glass. Garnish with citrus.

  14. My favorite alchoholic summer drink is Sangria. The secret is to spike it with apple schnapps. :-) If I’m not in a drinky mood, then my beverage of choice on a hot day is icy cold green tea, with a double shot of mint syrup. It’s both cold AND cooling….how can you beat that!?

  15. My dad makes the best blended margaritas! Sounds weird, but the ingredients are limeade, cheap beer, ice, and tequila (of course). I’ve also taken to adding a splash of Triple Sec and 7-Up. Yummy! Be careful, though! They go down like Kool-Ade! =)

  16. homemade raspberry lemonade with lemon flavored sugar crystals around the rim of the glass…or a mint chocolate chip milkshake…both are really refreshing!!
