Yellow is a happy color, but orange happens to be my FAVORITE color because it’s so bold and accents everything so well. I can’t help but be drawn to anything orang.. but… yellow will brighten any day!
My favorite colors are dark red and light blue. Honestly, they just make me feel good when I wear them.

My favorite color is green because it can be seen everywhere. Green makes me feel tranquil and at home, it is full of energy and life. The color green in nature also gets brighter during and after it rains it is really beautiful.

Yellow is my favorite color! It fills all of my best memories. I love the way it dances on the ceiling to welcome you to the day and how it peaks through the curtains to beckon you outside to play. Mostly I love yellow because it brightens the darkest of places!
While I love your blog and totally agree with the reasons why you love yellow I have to say that my favorite color is blue. I don’t have any touchy/feely reason why…I just like it! Any shade of blue will due just as long as it’s blue! =)
It’s always been blue but lately, red makes me happy. However. I’ve always been drawn to yellow. Add in some black polka dots and I’m a happy person!
Yellow is my favorite color in the world! I like it because it’s happy and energetic and it both mirrors my natural personality and emphasizes it. Yellow is loud and proud and happy and WOOOO. That is why it’s my favorite color. I like a sunny yellow shade, like your store’s background.

Red has been my favorite color since I was a VERY little girl: I still have vivid memories of looking down at my shiny red patent flats as I walked to a Christmas concert- at age THREE! Red fingernail polish, a red Jeep, and of course, red rubies: red is my festive, confidence-building, strength-increasing passionate color!

These days I love the color orange-red. It’s so fun and fiesta-like!
I like deep shades of red, blue, brown and black. For some reason, they calm me and make me feel happy!
Red! My Dad always said he loved my mom…and all of my sisters and me in red.
Just gives me a sense of happiness and home!
Blue is my favorite. It makes me feel cheery and happy. Blue is the color of the sky, of the far reaching universe and a reminder that we are a small part of a much larger existence. Blue is the color of the ocean and the Great Lakes. Looking over the water at a rising or setting sun gives me a sense of well being!

YELLOW, yep its still the beautiful color of my daughters bedroom, albeit she’s long gone & flying solo as a beautiful adult woman now. I never changed the color, just filled it with wicker furniture and now read…usually leading to naps, in this beautiful YELLOW room filled with afternoon sunshine, joy & cherised memories!!!
Blue – so calm… Blue is my favorite color.
Green, green, green! But really yellow-green. I’m not sure why but it just makes my eyes happy. Can’t wait for the yellow door to open!
I love yellow because it is the color of my newborn’s baby room… It makes me feel happy and warm at the same time even when changing diapers…
My favorite color is yellow, yellow, yellow. It reminds me of my favorite things: sunshine, egg yolks, the rubber duckies my kids played with in the tub so long the water cooled, crayons, yellow brick road, yellow submarine, the color of our daughter’s bedroom walls and its reflection of her cheery personality, my grandmother’s metal kitchen table with yellow vinyl chairs. Yellow makes a bad day good, a sad moment brighter.

I love yellow because it is the color of the aspens changing in the fall — and when I look at an entire mountainside of golden aspens it does something wonderful in my brain!

I find a saturated deep burgundy/maroon/wine-ish color very soothing & satisfying, for some reason. I am drawn to anything that has this color in it. I also love pink! It’s happy. cheerful and joyful & fun and girly. (Never liked it as a girl with two brothers, too girly!…but LOVE it now!)
I love the color orange ! It’s a happy color ! I really love all orange shades… burnt orange…with greens and browns for decorating !
My fav color is periwinkle blue. I love the coolness and fun of this happy color. It’s name is also whimsical. All around it’s a winner!

Autumn. I’ve decided over the years that it should be recognized as an official color. The variety of hues in “autumn” are amazing and inspiring.
Green – it’s the color of the outdoors and I love it.
I LOVE almost all colors, because they can set a mood, or show how you feel.But over all colors, i like bright neon colors cause they make everything POP! But then again, black is such a flattering color, and lokks good on everybody. And of couse you can’t forget white, a fun, but elegant,color that goes with almost any ocation.
i like the color brightest teal or blue you can find. colors that look like the ocean and make you feel like you have escaped real life for a moment. :)
I have two favorite colors. My main favorite is purple. I don’t know why I like it, it’s just been my fav for a really long time.
My newer favorite is green…for a silly reason. I just got married (two months ago) and my new last name is Greene…so even though it’s spelled with an ‘e’ on the end I feel like I should embrace the color green…plus, I’m irish!!!

When I was a kid my fav color was red…in college, it was purple…now it’s a dusty rose. I like dusty rose cause it’s a deep rich feminine color that goes well with chocolate brown, my other fav. Go figure, lol.

Certain shades of yellow have the ability to lift your mood and warm your spirit. During very tough time in my life, a marital separation, I moved in with a friend and painted my bedroom a warm, House Beautiful Yellow of the Year color.
Regardless of my struggles in my marriage or challenges at work, I would wake up and go to bed, surrounded by this warmth.
I believe just thinking of the color yellow can warm you up, brining a pink color to your cheeks as your body begins to relax and your blood begins to flow.
Speaking of PINK, it is my new favorite color. I never particularly cared for PINK until a breast cancer diagnosis caused me to look at that ubiquitous ribbon in a whole new way and led to founding a breast cancer non-profit that helps patients in active treatment with some of their cost of living expenses.
In helping them to pay their bills, The Pink Fund, brings the warmth of YELLOW into their lives, warming their spirit, allowing their blood to flow and PINKING their cheeks with HOPE for the future!

But yellow holds a special place for me because my dog was ‘little yellow girl’ in her litter! I still have her yellow puppy collar. But now that she’s 80 lbs, not 10 lbs, it doesn’t quite fit ;)
