To celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month, catching fireflies is partnering with The Pink Fund, a local non-profit who provides financial aid to women & men with breast cancer.   This cause hits close to home since almost everyone on our catching fireflies team knows someone that has or has had breast cancer.  We hope to make a difference by donating 20% of the proceeds of all our pink ribbon items to help other women & .

Since then we added two other cats, Piper & Shideh plus a Basset Hound, Gus to our four-legged family. If .

Every month they distribute these drawings to Nursing Homes, Meals on Wheels Programs, and Individuals all across the country. Their goal is to make people smile!   To get started, just print a few coloring sheets, have you kids color away and send them off to .

arts & scraps to the rescue
We’re proud to donate our pretty paper scraps and various wood pieces to Arts & Scraps throughout the year, but since we’re moving our design studio this month, some heavier purging needed to happen. After 6 years in a warehouse space, we accumulated a lot of extra stuff that wasn’t serving a worthy purpose so it was time to clean house! Even though I’m in the gift-giving business,  I still believe volunteering or donating to a charity is often far more rewarding than loads of presents under the tree. What better gift to give someone who has everything than a donation via them to someone who has nothing?  Trickle Up empowers people living on less than a dollar a day to take the first steps out of poverty, providing them with resources to build micro .
