ballet lessons – kitty style

ballet lessons – kitty style
Maybe because I took a few years of ballet when I was younger or maybe because these kitty feet look just like my cat’s pretty paws… none the less, when I first saw these magnets on another great blog I couldn’t stop laughing out loud.  Really, who would have thought the five ballet feet positions modeled by a kitty would be so funny? Now if only I could teach Tuesday to pirouette .

salivating over spring skimmers

salivating over spring skimmers
Okay, I know the last few shoe entries have featured other tennie skimmers… but there are SO many fabulous ones to choose from I couldn’t resist sharing my picks with you. The colors, styles, patterns are scrumptious… it’s like shopping at a candy store! First up, my very favorite juicy cherry rocket dogs.  Yummy! tempting peep toe tennies

You can probably tell by my last few shoe postings I am eager for spring to arrive; so when I saw these oh-so-adorable peep toe tennies on another cheeky blog I peruse, I could not help to share the wealth with you.  Maybe I could convince my husband Steve to give them to me for St. Patty’s Day… after all, they are green and gold.

Whenever I have to stop at Target I can never resist the urge to peruse the shoe section because every once in a while I find a sweet style and these skimmers fit the bill.  They’ll look great with jeans, skirts and capris. I saw another girl trying on these fun peep hole wedges and couldn’t help to follow suit.  They are quite something, but I don’t know if I could pull them off .

dreaming of summer shoes

I know it’s only mid February but I was flipping through the most recent j.jill catalog and was lured in by these sweet clogs.  I love the details… the thick strap, flower cut-outs and scalloped edges. What did the groundhog predict again?  (hopefully spring comes sooner than later)

happy birthday morgan & maddy

happy birthday morgan & maddy
Our two nieces’ birthday party is next weekend so Steve and I spent part of Saturday shopping for some fun girlie goodies to put together for them.  We couldn’t resist these punchy pink converse high tops for Morgan.  I added a couple of ‘girl power’ charms from our store’s charm-it it display for a little extra flair. And we both fell in love with these rockin’ cowgirl boots for Madeline. The inside lining is .

my office mates

my office mates
Sometimes my afternoons at my home office feel like that Ellen DeGeneres commercial for American Express (see below) Our bully, Samson is always eagerly perched on the edge of the love seat in our office watching the computer screen and Tuesday helps out when I need to maneuver the mouse.  I can’t rely on them for any grand business ideas; however they’re pretty talented at warming my heart.

no more itchy sweaters

no more itchy sweaters
With the temperatures dipping down in the single digits lately, my sweater rotation has been on the upswing… so when I spotted this clever under garment it perked my interest. I think I need to add a couple of these to my wardrobe for numerous reasons… ~ it’s lightweight, whisper-thin, form-fitting fabric that adds no bulk under clothing (because who wants to look bigger than they are!?) ~ it takes the edge off itchy .
